After a long journey, you finally arrive at the remote town of Drella. As an aspiring mercenary, you hope this forgotten town will lack any competition so you can easily find work. Everyone has monsters that they need killing, right?

First things first, you rented your own place and need to find it. You have the address wirtten down on your confirmation letter in your backpack.

At the top of the screen are icons that will take you to various places. Click on the icon to access your inventory. From there you can view and use items you are carrying.

Click on an item's name or image to view a description of it. Click on the use button to use it.

Great! The grey bar directly above this line gives feedback when you interact with things in the world. Now you can visit your house using the icon above.

    You currently have no items.

This equipment has modified your stats. When your stats are modified, they will appear on the side as blue (if increased) or red (if decreased), with the unmodified values shown in brackets.

Effects can modify your stats amongst other things, just like equipment. You can see your current effects in the pane to the right. Like items, you can click on their name or image for more detail. Effects are time limited, lasting only a number of turns. Remaining turns are indicated in the brackets following the name.

Casting skills inside or outside of combat will cost MP. You cannot cast the skill if you do not have enough MP.

    Now return to your house.

This must be the house. You pull the keys out of your pocket and turn it in the lock. The door creaks open. You hear a scurrying as some mice run out view.

It's not the fanciest place but it was all you could afford the rent for.

You look over at the table and find a postcard, faintly glowing with mystical energy.

You pick up the mystical postcard.

Use the icon at the top of the page to go to your equipment and equip the postcard. Equippable items you own are displayed on the equipment page instead of your inventory.

You figure you should start early tomorrow, and so consider getting an early night.

But before you go to bed, you should practice your meditation to make sure you're in the best condition.

Use the icon above to visit the skill menu and cast a skill.

You go to bed, but are too aching from the journey to get a good rest.

The next morning you're starving. You hunt through your backpack but unfrotunately you only have one food item left from your travels, a single cookie.

    You get a cookie.

You know it's best not to work on an empty stomach, you can get more done in the day by eating, but there will be plenty of time to find or buy some food throughout the day.

You head out the door and off to town, where your new adventure awaits!

Use the icon above to visit town and see if anybody has any jobs for you. The town Mayor might have some ideas.

    This is your house.

You look to sell your unwanted junk.

You currently have nothing to sell.

    You visit the local shop.

    You visit the personal trainer.

You already know all of your class skills. The trainer has nothing left to teach you.

You visit Drella U, the town's university. A receptionist is sitting behind a desk, chewing on some gum.

"Welcome to Drella U. We offer a range of courses to teach you new skills. With over 200 years of experience, we've refined our courses to teach you all you need to know in only 20 minutes!"

"All of our paid spaces are full, I'm afraid we can only offer spaces to those with government vouchers."

"Here's the courses we still have available today. If you don't think any are suitable, feel free to come back tomorrow, and we'll see if we can find you another one."

    You have to spend.

    Small Courses

    You visit the local doctor.

    HP:
    MP:

Coming here often? You can put the doctor on the top pane in the settings menu.

You walk up to the orc camp. Nobody comes to chase you off so figure everybody must be busy. It certainly doesn't look busy, maybe most of the troops have yet to arrive?

The leader's tent in the centre of the camp seems well guarded. It might be worth trying to find a high ranking officer to talk to to see if they can give you an audience.

As you approach Eaty Farm you see a large crowd congregating at the gates. They seem to be protestors? They are hold up signs with slogans like "Get a brain moran" and "They are hiding the truth".

One of the protestors is screaming "Wake up sheeple!" at the sheep grazing in one of the fields. Another group is investigating a cornfield.

Looks like things are starting to get a little out of hand. Maybe the farmer knows what's up.

One of Eaty Farm's fields is a giant corn field. It's hard to make out from ground level, but there are giant circular shapes flattened in the corn.

It's likely just a prank, but it sure seems to have drawn a lot of attention from the kind of person who'll believe anything.

Regardless, there's nothing to really see here.

The first thing that strikes you as you arrive is that everyone is just so miserable. So much for Happyville.

There's a congregation of people by a large confier tree in the middle of the village square. Perhaps somebody there can let you know what's going on.

You visit the Happyville gift shop. It looks like they will trade wrapping paper for an assortment of goodies. Wierd that they don't take Gold.

You have wrapping paper to spend.

This is a locked yellow door. There's a note on the door, which says: "In partnership with General Store Inc, come visit us for access. Not suitable for adventurers below level 3."

The game also auto-saves every time you:

    • End a turn
    • Equip or unequip an item
    • Use or sell an item
    • Cast a non-combat skill
    • Buy something

To load your game, just refresh the page

(You can disable these warnings in the settings)

It's getting late and you're out of turns for today! Gain more turns by eating food, or if you've reached your limits, head back to your house and go to sleep.
